Experience Desired:

  • Licensed physiotherapist in Ontario, in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

  • Specialization or certification in sports therapy, orthopedics, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

  • Proficiency in implementing evidence-based treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and self-management strategies.

  • Experience working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with orthopaedic injuries or conditions.

  • Utilize a variety of treatment modalities and techniques, including manual therapy, rehabilitative exercises, and therapeutic modalities, to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, therapeutic exercises, and self-management techniques.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to coordinate care and facilitate multidisciplinary treatment approaches.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, in-house workshops, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
